| 关于 Terry Tu |
Terry Tu is always fascinated by sound. That’s the reason he spent four years probing the magic of sound in university. In 2004, Terry turned his focus fully on electronic music when he excellently stood out in DMC World DJ Championships. Meanwhile he also worked on sound projects for movies like Ashes of Time Redux and CJ7. From 2007, he spent more time on gigs. And in the same year, together with other seven producers/DJs, he founded electronic music label Acupuncture Records. Terry’s passion on composing music and approach to deephouse, tech house and minimal techno never halted despite of his various identities and busy schedule. Finally in the end of 2008, his debut EP “EBB” was released under his own label – deephouse music officially born in China. Wandering between sound and music, switching in different identities, and creating with passion, have made him THE rising star in the Chinese scene. Terry Tu从小对声音着迷--4年大学他选择了对声音进行专业的探究。2004年Terry Tu首次在DMC世界DJ大赛中国赛区总决赛中脱颖而出后--转而钻研电子音乐--并开始一系列的电影声音制作--包括《东邪西毒》终极版、《长江7号》等。2007年起--开始更多现场演出--参与发起电子音乐厂牌Acupuncture Records--并成为旗下艺人。虽然各种身份已经让他忙得不亦乐乎--Terry Tu从未放弃创作的激情--始终在进行原创电子音乐创作--专注于Deep House、Tech House以及Minimal Techno音乐。2008年底--他的首张单曲《EBB》在Acupuncture Records下发行--国内原创Deep House音乐终于出现。在音乐及声音的不同领域游走--多重身份的变换--使他迅速成为无法被忽视的新起之秀。
