李增辉男--1983年出生--青岛人。2008年水陆观音最惊艳的新星。萨克斯、人声、诗歌。2001年组建独立摇滚乐队“斜韵”--后来兼任“黄粱公主”乐队键盘手。2007年和冯昊组建“核桃室”。
Li Zenghui Male, born in Qingdao in 1983, relocated in Beijing in 2007. He is the most promising star in China’s free music/avant-jazz realm.Saxophone player, poet, voice experimenter.He had found indie/experimental rock band “the Tipsy Verse” in 2001. Afterwards he held a concurrent post as the keyboard player in “Pipedream Princess”. found “Walnut Room” with Feng Hao in 2007.

舞台下他是谦卑的小人物--舞台上他是能量爆发的超兽--这样的人就是传说中的艺术家。也许他最大的遗憾就是--身边没有一群好乐手--如果是在纽约--3年的演出和排练就能改善技术和经验的欠缺--成就一颗新星。但同时他也在贫瘠的环境中积蓄了苦闷和想象--他无师自通--发明了发自内心又直抵观众内心的实验。他天生就该是干这个的。

爵士也好--即兴也罢--在李增辉这里是一种本能意义上的对接--天赋的契合。在技艺的细节层面--在素养的整体方向上--他无疑还有初出茅庐的稚嫩--但是潜能无限。况且我已经亲身领略过那些惊心动魄的现场。有时好似阿部薰--Kaoru Abe--的知音--阴郁、锋利、追求绝对--有时又像是艾勒--Albert Ayler--的门徒--雄浑、浓烈、悲抑到无法自制。还有他的人声--如同绝叫系噪音和地下摇滚的盲目通婚--反复印证着一股卤莽但又无可阻挡的力量。
